I don't know

Teenagers have a lot of idiotic problems but sometimes I wonder how they can be solved, are they even really a problem? Do they matter?

Well this seventeen year old girl had a little problem too. Her name was Kimi and she had a group of good friends which she hung out with. One of the group was a guy called Yamato, he was a close friend of Kimi. The two talked a lot through the internet and adviced each other whenever they had a problem. They also told each other secrets, they could say anything without being afraid that they would be judged. Yamato had a girlfriend named Miu, they had been in a relationship for about 4 months and they were really happy together. Kimi noticed that Yamato had changed since he met his girlfriend and thought she was a good change in his life since she made him happy. One day Kimi talked to Yamato through chat, she was just talking randomly like she had always done. She got bored after some time and decided to tease Yamato about his girlfriend. But what he answered surprised her. Yamato told Kimi that he and Miu had already done 'it'. ( When I use 'it' I refer to coïtus. Yeah I'm really awkward about such things.) Kimi laughed not believing a word he said. But he was serious about it and she slowly realised he had no reason to lie to her. He was speaking the truth and Kimi was just speachless. She asked a few questions as to gather information. Kimi couldn't understand why he did it. She acted as if she did understand and said he was the first of the group, a sort of congratulations. But then he told her he wasn't the first, that's how she found out that four of her friends had already done 'it'. She was so shocked. She thought they were innocent and all that time she didn't know a thing. ( Not that coïtus is a crime.) Knowing all those things she didn't know how to feel. She wasn't happy nor sad, not angry either. She just couldn't accept it, for her 'it' wasn't something that easy to do. Even so Kimi had to pretend that she did understand him and be a good friend for him. But because of that conversation, she thought differently about Yamato. Kimi didn't know what to say to him so she avoided talking to him for a few days. Eventually she decided to say hi to Yamato but it was already late and he didn't answer because he was already asleep. That night she wrote her thoughts on a piece of paper. So next time she talked to Yamato she would be able to tell exactly what she felt. Still she coudln't really say it so she decided to let him read how she felt. The next day she sent him the message that she worked hours on hoping he would understand her.

His reaction is unknown and what happened after is a mystery but what I do know is that sometimes things can bother me, things that aren't my business. So I try to keep my distance and won't meddle but sometimes that isn't the best thing to do either. Sometimes telling what you truly think is better than being silent about it and live with uncomfortable lies...
